Silicon nitride (Si3N4) Liquid Heating Element consists of heating tungsten wire, power supply leads and flat silicon nitride (Si3N4) ceramic substrate. The heating tungsten wire is placed in silicon nitride powder raw material, from which the substrate is formed after hot pressing and sintering. The power supply leads connect the heating tungsten wire to power supply. High performance silicon nitride (Si3N4) is both electric insulator and heat transfer medium, which can be directly contact with water (or other liquid being heated), resulting high heating efficiency, safe and energy saving.

This product has the following excellent performance and features:

  • High electric insulation strength: No breakdown for 1 minute, at 2500V, 50Hz, and room temperature

  • Current leakage: normal operation ≤ 0.025 mA, when broken in the water, ≤ 10 mA

  • High application temperature: maximum 1200 0C in air

  • High power at unit surface, up to 25 W/cm2

  • Small thermal inertia and fast heating

  • Acid corrosion resistance: when boiling in 5% sulphuric acid solution for 6h, the corrosion rate <10 g/(m2h)

  • Alkali corrosion resistance: when boiling in 30% sodium hydroxide solution for 6h, the corrosion rate <0.6 g/(m2h)

  • Small size

  • Long life: 500
