Carrier

Coating

Outside the active layer, Zr, Ce, Rh, Pd, Pt and other precious metals are coated to improve the catalyst.

Oxidation reaction: HC+O2=H2O+CO2; reduction reaction: Nox+HC+CO=N2+H2O+CO2.
